About Ruth

Ruth studied music at Exeter University, focusing on opera and viola, before heading to Central School of Speech and Drama to study musical theatre. She spent years performing in shows, musical directing, and teaching instruments and singing, before turning to writing as a creative outlet.

After completing several writing courses, entering competitions, and seeking an agent and publisher, she finally secured her first book deal in 2023!
